The wood-fired pizzas at nearby Tasca Do Alfredo were a revelation, with flavors that'll have you daydreaming about them long after. Plus, the staff's thoughtful treats like cocktail kits and a welcome bottle of wine added a personal touch to our stay.
We underestimated the hilly stroll back to the hotel after a full day of adventures, which can be a bit tiring. the central AC was out, making for some warm nights, but we still managed to sleep soundly with the windows open.

Unfortunately, the hotel layout made it difficult to get a view from the room, which felt like a missed opportunity. On the last morning, breakfast setup was chaotic even with guests already there, which left us feeling rushed as we had an early schedule.

During my three-night stay, I particularly enjoyed the stunning architectural features of the hotel that seamlessly blend modern updates with historical charm. Every day started off right with a breakfast that included a delightful selection of fresh pastries, and the lovely outdoor dining area just a stone's throw away was a great touch. The location was a bit hidden in the hillside old part of town, making for an adventurous stroll back after a day of exploring nearby attractions like the National Pantheon and Alfama. I found the experience refreshing and unique, perfect for making the most of my solo trip to Lisbon.

Couples looking for a delightful escape
The breakfast experience was something else! We ordered a main dish, and they served a variety of fresh fruit and pastries. it was like a feast for the senses. they had this coffee machine in the room, and it came with a recipe for a special cocktail. I felt like a king enjoying that treat in the morning!
It wasn’t exactly cheap but still acceptable for the experience you get.

A welcoming atmosphere defined the experience, complemented by exceptionally friendly staff who provided invaluable local tips and made accommodations for our one-year-old. The room, while compact, was adorned with a delightful welcome gift and featured high-quality amenities. Breakfast offered a delightful spread of pastries and Belgian waffles, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. Although the noise was well-managed, the room could benefit from better soundproofing against external disturbances.
